Many Zante party days begin in Laganas, and many end there too. In one resort you have a long sandy bay for the afternoon, two beach clubs on the sand, and a main street lined with bars and clubs for the night. In summer 2026 six of the eight venues on this site were here, and our listings had something in Laganas six days out of seven.
The shape of Laganas
Think of Laganas in two parts. Down by the water is the bay: a wide sandy beach where the day starts, with the beach clubs set right on the sand. Running inland from the beach is the main street, the strip, where the bars and clubs sit one after another. Most nights in Laganas start on one and finish on the other, and in between you can walk.
The beach clubs: afternoons on the sand
Two beach clubs on Laganas beach hosted the afternoon parties in our 2026 listings. Infinity Beach Club had Beach Party – La Festa Italiana every Tuesday from 14 July to 25 August, from 17:00 to 21:00. El Paradiso Beach Club had the Paradiso Sunset Party every Thursday from 16 July to 20 August, from 18:00, with palms, a pool facing the sea, a drink included and a DJ playing deep house and chill as the sun went down. From either one, the strip is a short walk away.

In 2026 the Tuesday beach party ended at 21:00 and the Thursday one started at 18:00; the strip's club nights with a published start time opened from 23:00.
The strip: the club nights
In our 2026 listings, four venues in or by the main street carried the nights. Sizzle Club, on Laganas Road, had Little Italy on Tuesdays (100% Italian music, entry plus one drink) and Papi Chulo on Thursdays from 23:00 (reggaeton, hip-hop and trap). AURA hosted Dolce Vita, the Italian Saturday of Laganas, every Saturday from 11 July to 29 August, with a drink included. Garrison Club, on the main strip according to the organiser, hosted Favelas, a Brazilian night, from midnight on Mondays and on Friday 24 July. And Pure Zante brought the Champagne Spray Italiano to four Saturday afternoons, 17:30 to 21:00, with a bottle per guest.

The bay by day: a protected sea
Laganas Bay is part of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos, created to protect one of the most important nesting areas of the loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta) in the Mediterranean, along with sand dunes and seagrass meadows. That is what makes the bay special, and enjoying it is easy. On the nesting beaches of the park you are welcome from 07:00 until sunset, you keep to the strip of sand near the water, nests are protected by small cages that you give plenty of room, and vehicles stay off the sand. Follow the park rangers' instructions and the bay stays as beautiful as you found it.
