Terms and conditions
These terms govern your use of partyislandzante.com. Using the site means you accept them. They are short because the site is simple: we publish information about parties in Zante and link to the official ticket seller. We do not sell tickets ourselves.
Who we are
The site is operated under the brand Party Island Zante, VAT number MT32283622, and is part of the Party Island group of websites. To contact us, use the contact form on our Contact page or WhatsApp (+34 646 898 488).
What the site is
An independent guide to club nights, beach parties, boat parties and related events in Zante. We publish dates, times, venues, prices and our own descriptions, together with guides to the area. We also offer free services: alerts when tickets go on sale and, if you give us your travel dates, an email with the parties during your stay that are already on sale, followed by alerts when other parties for those dates go on sale.
Tickets
Every ticket is sold by GetYourTickets (getyourtickets.com) under its own terms and conditions, which you accept when you buy there. The contract for the ticket is between you and GetYourTickets and, through it, the event organiser. We are not a party to it. Prices, availability, refunds, name changes, cancellations and any problem with an order are handled by GetYourTickets and the organiser, not by us.
Events and venues
Events are organised and run by their organisers and venues. They set the door rules, the dress code, the age policy, the opening and closing times and any surcharge, and they can change or cancel an event. We publish those rules as they appear on the official ticket pages and we update the site when they change, but the rule that applies at the door is the venue's. We are not responsible for a venue's decisions, for refused entry, for changes to a line-up or for the conduct of an event.
Accuracy of information
We take care to publish only what the official ticket listing and the venues publish, and we date our guides. Even so, information can be out of date between updates and walking or travel times are estimates. Before you travel, check the event page on the day; if anything on this site and the ticket page disagree, the ticket page prevails.
Emails and alerts
The email about your travel dates and the alerts are free, informational and sent to the address you give us; they are not a reservation. We charge nothing for these services.
Age
The site is intended for people aged 18 and over. Entry rules for each party, including the minimum age, are set by the venue and shown on the official ticket page.
Your use of the site
You may read, link to and share the site for personal use. You may not copy its texts, data or images for publication elsewhere, scrape it automatically, interfere with its operation, submit false or abusive requests through its forms, or use it for anything unlawful. We can suspend access to anyone who does.
Intellectual property
The texts, structure, design and the Party Island name and logos are ours or licensed to us. Event posters and venue names belong to their organisers and venues and are shown to identify the events. Nothing on the site grants you a licence beyond personal use.
Liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site, from reliance on its information, from the acts of GetYourTickets, an organiser or a venue, or from interruptions outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Links
The site links to GetYourTickets, to venues' own websites, to transport operators and to other Party Island sites. Each of those sites has its own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their content.
Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy; which cookies we use, in the cookie policy. Both form part of these terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you also keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live. Write to us first and we will try to settle any problem amicably. Any dispute that is not settled goes to the courts of the consumer's place of residence where the law so provides, and otherwise to the courts of Malta.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page with its date.
