In summer 2026 our listings had two boat days: an Italian boat party on a pirate ship and a daytime trip for young Italians from Laganas. Here is how each day ran and how a boat day fits around your nights out.
The pirate ship boat party
This Italian boat party sailed on a pirate ship on Fridays and Saturdays, from 11 July to 29 August 2026. The route took in a photo stop at Shipwreck Beach (Navagio) and a swim in the clear water of the Blue Caves. The bar opened on the way back, with a DJ set and entertainment on board. Check the boarding point and time on the official ticket page: in 2026 the time was confirmed on arrival in Zante.
The Mamma Mia! boat trip
Mamma Mia! was a daytime boat trip made for young Italians on holiday, every Wednesday from 8 July to 26 August 2026, leaving from the port of Laganas in the afternoon. The day had four stops and two swims: looking for loggerhead turtles (Caretta caretta) in their natural habitat, a stop at Marathonisi, the small island in Laganas Bay, a swim at Mizithres and a photo stop at the Keri caves. The organiser notes that the programme can change with the weather, which is how every good sea day works.
How a boat day fits your week
In 2026 the Wednesday trip paired well with Italiano Night at Gatsby Live Theater from 15 July. The pirate ship went with Elegant Party at Club Barrage on Fridays or Dolce Vita at AURA on Saturdays, and on Friday 24 July Favelas on the Laganas strip was another option.
