Zante's party summer does not wait for midnight. In 2026 the days were full too: a boat trip to the turtles and the Keri caves, a pirate ship to Shipwreck Beach and the Blue Caves, and beach parties on the sand of Laganas from late afternoon. Here is how to fill the hours between one night and the next.
The turtle boat: Marathonisi and the Keri caves
The Mamma Mia! trip was a boat day made for young Italians on holiday, every Wednesday afternoon in 2026 from the port of Laganas. The route had four stops and two swims. First, the search for loggerhead turtles (Caretta caretta) in their natural habitat; then Marathonisi, the islet in Laganas Bay; a swim at Mizithres; and a photo stop at the Keri caves. Marathonisi is one of the protected nesting beaches of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos, so the park's simple rules apply: you are welcome from 07:00 until sunset and you keep to the strip of sand by the water.
Shipwreck Beach and the Blue Caves by pirate ship
For sightseeing from the water, the 2026 pirate ship boat party sailed on Fridays and Saturdays, with a photo stop at Shipwreck Beach (Navagio) and a swim in the clear water of the Blue Caves, before the open bar opened on the way back. Afternoons on the beach in Laganas
In our 2026 listings, three afternoons a week started on the sand or by the pool: Beach Party – La Festa Italiana at Infinity Beach Club on Tuesdays from 17:00 to 21:00, the Paradiso Sunset Party at El Paradiso Beach Club on Thursdays from 18:00, and the Champagne Spray Italiano at Pure Zante on four Saturdays from 17:30 to 21:00. After each one came dinner and the club.
